Together with the English Premier League, the Spanish Premier Division and the German Bundesliga, the Italian Serie A is one of the four most important football leagues in Europe. So it's no wonder that a Serie A soccer prediction is very popular! For many years Italian football was a synonym for aesthetics and ball art, but in the past years and decades the Spaniards and Englishmen have bought the Italian's edge in terms of success, even the Bundesliga is sometimes rated better and higher. Only a few clubs have been able to assert themselves on an international level, including the Italian record champion Juventus Turin. It is precisely this wide spread between two or three big clubs and the rest that makes the league so interesting for sports betting fans. But as not every betting fan follows the events in Serie A, Serie A tips are of course very popular. On our pages you can find a lot of Serie A predictions.
Series A in its present form was founded and established shortly after the end of the Second World War. By far the most championships were won by Juventus Turin, from 2012 to 2018 even six times in a row. So Juventus Turin is the closest to FC Bayern Munich in Germany when it comes to the championship, all other teams have to compete against "Juve". The two second most successful teams are AC Milan and Inter Milan - although both teams have not played the leading role in Italian football in recent years. Other major traditional clubs are AS Rome, SSC Naples since the 1980s and FC Turin. After the bad international season of the Bundesliga clubs in 2017/18, Serie A was again able to pass Germany in the UEFA five-year ranking.
As in Germany and other countries, tradition plays an important role in Italian football. There are teams that have always been a part of Serie A: AC Florence, for example, or FC Bologna - names of teams that should also be known in this country. But there are also teams that not everyone knows because they only had their first Serie A seasons very late. These include clubs like Frosinone Calcio, US Sassuolo Calcio and Chievo Verona. Between Serie B and Serie A there is a constant ups and downs and now and then a team gets lost in Serie A that no one really has on their paper, which only makes the overall structure even more exciting. In contrast to Germany, there is a club in Serie A that has never been relegated in its current format since the first league was founded. Of course we are talking about Inter Milan or Football Club Internazionale Milano S.p.A., founded in 1908 in the capital of Lombardy. In the 2009/10 season, Inter Milan became the first Italian club to win the triple of the Italian championship, Coppa Italia and Champions League. In the eternal Serie A table, Inter Milan take second place behind Juventus Turin.
Italian football history is full of big names. Record player is Paolo Maldini and with his 647 matches for AC Milan in Serie A, he will be number one in the list for a long time to come. Second is goalkeeper legend Gianluigi Buffon, who has played 640 games in Serie A for Juventus Turin. Francesco Totti is in third place with 619 appearances for AS Rome. As for goals, which is what football is all about, Silvio Piola is the top scorer. He played for Lazio Rome between 1929 and 1954 and scored a total of 274 goals. Totti followed with 250 goals for AS Rome between 1993 and 2017. Once a German top scorer of the season: In the 1997/98 season Oliver Bierhoff scored 27 goals for Udinese Calcio and took the lead. The most successful coach is also not unknown in Germany: Giovanni Trapattoni won the championship six times with Juventus, once with Inter Milan.
As in all other leagues, you can bet on anything you want with the big betting providers in relation to the Series A. From long-term bets (who becomes champion, top scorer, who relegates, who qualifies for the Champions League) to short-term bets (who wins which game, how many goals are scored in the game, how many yellow cards will there be) to bets that can only be placed on special occasions (who becomes the next coach to be dismissed, who follows coach xy, who buys which player). Our Series A Tips, however, will mainly be about analysing upcoming games and formulating the right tip for them. Our experts will look at all the circumstances and requirements that the teams bring with them in order to provide the safest possible tip. For the normal sports betting fan, this is a big effort, especially for foreign leagues. Because it must be researched and by far not all information on current events are available in sufficient form in German. This means that it is enormously time-consuming for the sports weather to obtain information that can have an influence on what is happening in the game. With our Serie A forecasts, however, the sports betting fan can rely on receiving information that is in his or her hands and that goes far beyond simply looking at the form tables.
There is a lot to consider when making a bet9ja tip. This has not only something to do with history or the classic head-to-head comparison. Current events around the respective clubs have to be considered. Of course, everything starts with the form table. How often has a team been able to win recently? It is also important how strong a team is at home or how strong its opponent has been in a foreign country so far. But here, too, it's true that there can be no reliable statement without topicality. A simple example: A strong home team meets a weak away team according to the form table. However, the guests have only recently been given a new coach, who provides a lot of fresh wind, both in terms of tactics and line-up. Those who don't know this fact can quickly fall into the trap.
But it can be an opportunity, because some bookmakers react late to current events. And this is where the betting tip comes into play. A Serie A expert will be able to assess whether and how the guests can benefit from the new coach - and whether the outsider tip will turn into a successful bet in the end. The "coach effect" is an important and enormously powerful weapon, which should not be underestimated. With our Serie A prognosis all interested people stay up to date. Of course, it can also run quite differently: The guests have dismissed their coach, but not yet a new coach. The consequence can be, depending on what has happened before, that the team is completely demoralized and there is a shooting party for the hosts. That, too, cannot be estimated from the pure form table and it takes an expert to recognise such high-quality and rewarding Series A bets.
The home advantage plays an important role in Serie A prediction whenever the home team has a large and highly motivated following. The club doesn't have to be called Juventus Turin or Inter Milan, because other small teams have strong support in Serie A as well. Anyone who is familiar with Italian football knows that and we don't see this information in the statistics either. So we can see from this example that statistics are an important tool for the first assessment, but this cannot be the wisdom of the last conclusion.
Last but not least, the list of injured players is of great importance for the evaluation of an upcoming game in the Serie A. When the star striker is injured, scoring goals can be difficult, especially when it's been shown that the entire team is focused on that one man and his goals. This can happen with smaller clubs that don't have enough money to put together an all-round quality team - but it can also happen with larger clubs that didn't have any luck on the transfer market during the summer break. Also with this topic statistics help thus only very conditionally.
Also with the series A prognosis applies of course that the odds must be always in the view. Because the best and safest tip is worth nothing for the sports bet fan, if there is a odds of 1.03 for this with the betting provider. It is therefore the task of our experts to ensure that a balanced Series A tip is produced that provides a healthy level of security and a rewarding odds. Therefore it is not only important to be up to date as far as the teams are concerned. The betting market must also be constantly monitored in order to get the most out of such a tip.
It is certainly also important to know how the squad of a team is put together. The value of a team, on the other hand, is less important, because this value can be determined by only one player - the rest of the team is then only mediocre. There are plenty of examples of this in Serie A, too.
Many sports betting fans find it difficult to place bets on league matches at the beginning of a season. The reason: Without reasonable compulsory game results, an assessment is very difficult. And here, too, nothing works without the experts who spend the entire summer break dealing with the respective teams. During this time, Juventus Turin can also be watched on TV or as a live stream on the Internet, because the "old lady" is a regular guest at invitational tournaments and then plays against other international stars. With the other teams it becomes already more difficult, because in Germany hardly someone receives, where these teams go into the training camp or against which amateur teams test matches are delivered. That can be of decisive importance when it comes to the first four or five match days of a season.
Also of interest in this connection with the betting tips is of course the transfer market, which plays particularly crazy in summer. Everyone in the big magazines more or less gets the top transfers, but what about the "normal" transfers? High-class players who are not as well known as Lionel Messi or Cristiano Ronaldo. When it comes to German clubs, one look at the "kicker" is enough. With Italian clubs, things look quite different again. Here, too, an expert tip is worth its weight in gold.
As with all other European leagues, it is the case with Series A that experts' tips can be worth their weight in gold. Our betting tips highlight circumstances that a sports betting fan doesn't notice at all at first or can only find through a lot of research and elaborate methods. This work is simply done by our experts. Form tables are compared, current events are recorded and the line-up is thoroughly analysed. Everything that happens around clubs is important and finds its way into the sports betting tip. In addition, the betting market is kept under constant review to identify the best odds and most rewarding betting opportunities. So every sports betting fan can be sure that there is always a healthy middle course between a good odds and a realistic chance of winning. And yet, despite all accuracy and precision, it should never be forgotten: The best tips are not immune to events that occur during a game. Rejections, penalty kicks and injuries can happen at any time and in any game, so a betting tip, even on our pages, can only be seen as a very well-researched tip, never as a promise of a win.
